22 June 2015 was the day my life changed forever.
On that day I underwent an operation for the construction of an ileostomy, to free me from the heavy burden of the chronic bowel disorder which had been limiting my life for too long.
It is my intention to look at this positively, and to cherish the freedom which I hope it will bring. Now that I have largely recovered from the surgery, I am flinging the door open wide. My challenge is to step through it.
